LINCOLN TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING April 8, 2008 |

The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:02 pm, with Wray, Oswald, Ensign, and Trinklein present and Briggs absent, with 16 guests.
The agenda was approved with amendments after motion by Oswald and second by Ensign.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the March 11, 2008, March 18, 2008, and March 25, 2008 meetings were approved after motion by Ensign and second by Trinklein.
The treasurer�s report was heard.
Payment of bills were approved by roll call vote after motion by Oswald and second by Ensign. Wray-yes; Oswald-yes; Briggs-absent; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes.
The fire department, planning committee, building inspector, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, and sold waste reports were heard.
Information was heard on the mosquito control program beginning shortly.
Discussed changes to Fire and Emergency Incident Ordinance. Township will proceed with proposed changes and conduct public hearing.
Approved attendance for board members wishing to attend the MTA Spring Seminar on May 19, 2008 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm after motion by Oswald and second by Ensign.
Correspondence was heard from the insurance company and decision was made to comply with insurance recommendations.
Accepted resignation of Lincoln Township Trustee Gary Briggs from the Township Board after motion by Ensign and second by Oswald.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:16 pm by Supervisor Wray.
