The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Denise Schneider, vice-chairperson at 7:00 p.m.

Roll call was taken: Denise Schneider, Susan Ensign, Sheila Mesler, Roger Crockett and Gary Elza were present.

Denise Schneider requested nominations for officers for the 2007 year.

Gary Elza nominated Susan Ensign for Chairperson, Sheila Mesler seconded the nomination. A roll call vote was taken and approved 5 � 0.

Sue Ensign nominated Sheila Melser for Vice-Chairperson, Denise Schneider seconded the nomination. A roll call vote was taken and approved 5 � 0.

Sheila Mesler nominated Gary Elza for Secretary, Susan Ensign seconded the nomination. A roll call vote was taken and approved 5 � 0.

Chairperson Ensign took over the meeting at this time and requested the commission come up with a schedule of meetings for the 2007 calendar. The following dates were agreed to for 2007.

                                    June 5, 2007

                                    August 21, 2007

                                    October 2, 2007

All meetings will be held at the Lincoln Township Hall on Hope road starting at 6:30 p.m.

A site plan was submitted for Consumers Energy by Steven Markey. Mr. Markey reviewed what was going to be installed, answered questions regarding the installation.

It was discussed that this is a R2 zone and by definition it will require a special use permit, which can be applied for through the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Motion by Sheila Mesler with support from Denise Schneider to accept the site plan as submitted. A roll call vote was taken and passed 5 � 0.

Chairperson Ensign asked if there was any new business to be brought before the Planning Commission, there was none presented.

The next scheduled Planning Commission meeting will be held on April 3, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Township Hall on Hope Rd.

Chairperson Ensign adjourned the meeting at 7:20 p.m.
