LINCOLN TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING

 MARCH 9, 2004

LINCOLN TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING

            The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order at 7:00 pm by the Supervisor with all board members present and 17 guests.

            A motion to amend the agenda to include tree removal was made by Nightlinger and seconded by Hughes. Motion approved.

            Public comment was heard regarding Airport and Stark Rd. area for possible jail site.

            Correspondence was read and a motion was approved to allow zoning administrator to attend MTA seminar.

            The treasures report was given.

            A motion to pay bills was made by Sheets and seconded by Ahearn. Roll call vote: Wray-YES, Nightlinger-YES, Ahearn-YES, Hughes-YES, Sheets-YES. Approved unanimously.

            Wray motioned and Hughes seconded to set date of March 16^th at 7:00 as Truth in Taxation Hearing. Motion approved.

            Ahearn motioned and Wray supported the amendments to the budget as presented. Roll call vote: Sheets-YES, Hughes-YES, Ahearn-YES, Nightlinger-YES, Wray-YES. Approved unanimously. 

            A motion to have a special meeting to approve M-30 water line on March 15^th at 5:00 pm was made by Nightlinger and seconded by Hughes. Motion approved.

            Free trash weekend dates were set for May 7^th, 8th, and 14th, 15th ^for Lincoln Township residents by motion from Nightlinger and seconded by Sheets. Motion approved.

            Hughes motioned and Ahearn supported to award bid to Kindy Tree Service for tree removal at township hall. Motion approved.

            Hughes motioned and Sheets seconded to have Supervisor arrange roof repairs over fire hall. Motion carried.

            Meeting adjourned 8:30 pm.
