The plan evaluates existing recreation opportunities, reviews public
opinion regarding recreation, establishes recreational goals, and proposes a
five-year schedule of improvements and other related items that the Township

GIVEN that Lincoln Township shall
conduct a public meeting on Tuesday, June 11th at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln
Township Hall, 1880 N. Hope Rd., for the purpose of receiving comments on
the proposed draft of the Lincoln Township Five Year Parks & Recreation
Master Plan. The plan evaluates existing recreation opportunities,
reviews public opinion regarding recreation, establishes recreational goals,
and proposes a five-year schedule of improvements and other related items

The Lincoln Township board will hold a public hearing
on March 21, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the township hall.
The purpose of the meeting is to hear comments on the 2019-2020
proposed budget and its adoption.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to
support the proposed budget will be the subject of this hearing. A copy of the
proposed budget is available for inspection by contacting the Clerk at

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Lincoln Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,
December 4, 2018, 6:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Township Hall, 1882 Hope Rd.,
Midland, MI 48642, for the purposes of hearing comments regarding amendments
to the Township’s zoning ordinance. Proposed amendments include:
New definitions relating to
outdoor storage containers and solar power – Modifies Chapter 2 Section 2.2
Updates to the parking or
storage of recreational vehicles, utility trailers, and equipment – Modifies
Chapter 3 Section 3.3
Updates to accessory
buildings, adding regulations for outdoor storage containers and updating
roof-mounted on site solar energy systems – Modifies Chapter 3 Section 3.8
Updates to the R-1, B-1,
B-2, M-1, and M-2 zoning districts to allow large-scale solar energy
facilities as Special Land Uses – Modifies Chapter 6 Section 6.4
The addition of the Special
Land Use requirements and standards that pertain to the development and
construction of large-scale solar energy facilities – Modifies Chapter 7
