LINCOLN TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES October 13, 2009 |

The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Oswald, Ensign, Crockett, and Trinklein present, and 19 guests.
The agenda was approved after motion by Oswald and second by Crockett.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the September 8, 2009 regular board meeting was approved after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
The treasurer�s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $20,375.13 in the general fund, $1,334.56 in the fire fund, $157.59 in the liquor fund, $19,613.94 in the sanitation fund, and $25,086.25 in the water fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Crockett and second by Oswald. Crockett-yes; Oswald-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
The fire department, planning committee, building inspector, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, and sold waste reports were heard.
Set date for meeting with the Midland County Road Commission on October 15, 2009 at 10:30 am to discuss the 2010 road program.
Adopted resolution by roll call vote approving application of J. E. Johnson, Inc. for industrial facilities tax exemption certificate for property located at 1550 E. Virginia Drive, subject to site plan requirements of a six foot screening erected on the property line agreed to by representative of J. E. Johnson, Inc., after motion by Oswald and second by Ensign. Crockett-yes; Oswald-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes; Wray-yes.
Set capital charge at $7.50 per quarterly billing to finance new 20� water main after motion by Oswald and second by Trinklein.
Adopted resolution to let Midland County Water District #1 keep short term interest earned on water main collections after motion by Oswald and second by Ensign.
Allowed attendance to the 2010 Michigan Township Association annual education conference after motion by Wray and second by Ensign.
Allowed attendance two MTA seminars after motion by Ensign and second by Oswald.
Approved Midland County Water District #1 correcting ordinance after motion by Trinklein and second by Crockett.
Approved AT&T Metro Act extension contract after motion by Crockett and second by Ensign.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:52 pm by Supervisor Wray.
