LINCOLN TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES February 10, 2009 |

The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Oswald, Ensign, Crockett, and Trinklein present, with 16 guests.
The agenda was approved with addition of attendance at MTA seminar after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the January 13, 2009 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Ensign and second by Oswald.
The treasurer�s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $18,614.93 in the general fund, $3,678.03 in the fire fund, $157.59 in the liquor fund, and $15,059.43 in the sanitation fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Oswald and second by Crockett. The fire department, planning committee, building inspector, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, and sold waste reports were heard.
Resolution for no increase in supervisor�s salary was approved by roll call vote after motion by Trinklein and second by Oswald. Wray-yes; Oswald-yes; Crockett-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes. Resolution for no increase in clerk�s salary was approved by roll call vote after motion by Wray and second by Ensign. Wray-yes; Oswald-yes; Crockett-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes. Resolution for no increase in treasurer�s salary was approved by roll call vote after motion by Wray and second by Trinklein. Wray-yes; Oswald-yes; Crockett-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes. Approved setting budget workshop date for 3/17/09 after motion by Oswald and second by Ensign. Approved setting budget hearing/truth in taxation date for 3/24/09 after motion by Ensign and second by Crockett.
Approved by roll call vote a 3-year audit proposal in the amount of $17,400 from Burnside & Lang, with alternate price of $16,300 if clerk prepares financial statements, after motion by Trinklein and second by Ensign. Wray-yes; Oswald-yes; Crockett-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes.
Adopted poverty exemption resolution #09-01 after motion by Wray and second by Ensign.
Approved attendance at the MTA Introduction to Planning & Zoning seminar for those wishing to attend after motion by Oswald and second by Crockett.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:53 pm by Supervisor Wray.
