LINCOLN TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES October 14, 2008 |

The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 pm, with Wray, Oswald, Ensign, Surma, and Trinklein present, with 20 guests.
The agenda was approved after motion by Oswald and second by Surma.
Public comments were heard and correspondence was read.
The minutes of the September 9, 2008 regular board meeting were approved after motion by Ensign and second by Surma.
The treasurer�s report was heard.
Payment of bills in the amount of $20,535.32 in the general fund, $2,336.43 in the fire fund, $157.59 in the liquor fund, $11,790.07 in the sanitation fund, and $25,586.25 in the water fund were approved by roll call vote after motion by Trinklein and second by Ensign. Wray-yes; Oswald-yes; Surma-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes.
The fire department, planning committee, building inspector, ordinance enforcement officer, water authority, and sold waste reports were heard.
Meeting time set for Thursday, October 30, 2008, 9:00 AM with Midland County Road Commission regarding 2009 road projects.
Approved attendance at the annual Michigan Township Association educational conference for those wishing to attend after motion by Ensign and second by Oswald.
Approved attendance of the treasurer at the Michigan Township Association Tax Collecting 101 Seminar at a cost of $89 after motion by Trinklein and second by Surma.
Approved by roll call vote the Water District #1 Project Contract Resolution after motion by Trinklein and second by Oswald. Wray-yes; Oswald-yes; Surma-yes; Ensign-yes; Trinklein-yes.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:48 pm by Supervisor Wray.
