The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor with all members present except Briggs and 15 guests.

The agenda was accepted after motion by Oswald.

Public comment was heard regarding parking lot line painting and removal the fence.

Correspondence was read from City of Midland library, City of Midland new proposed Master Plan, and pending Brigg�s vs township law suit.

The minutes of January�s meeting were approved after motion by Ensign.

Motion to pay bills on hand after motion by Ensign. Roll call vote: Wray- YES, Oswald -YES, Hughes -YES, Ensign -YES. Approved unanimously.

The fire department report was given. Motion by Hughes to hire James Elias and Jason Alber as fire fighter trainees. Approved unanimously. The planning commission, building inspectors, code enforcement officer and water district reports were given.

Motion by Wray to approve electrical inspectors training for certification. Approved unanimously.

Motion by Wray to amend budget by moving $6000.00 from retirement line item with $1800.00 to clerk�s office supply and $4900.00 to treasurer�s office supply.  Approved unanimously.

Resolution by Hughes to increase Supervisor�s salary 3% to $15.777.54. Approved unanimously.

Resolution by Wray to increases Clerk�s salary 3% to $15,198.68. Approved unanimously.

Resolution by Wray to increase Treasurer�s salary 3% to $14,507.55 and $5000.00 additional for summer tax collection. Approved unanimously.

Resolution by Wray to increase Trustee salary 3% to $89.96 per meeting. Approved unanimously.

Budget workshop meeting set for March 21, 2006 after motion by Wray.

Truth in Taxation and budget adoption set for March 23, 2006 after motion by Wray.

March Board of Review dates set for March 13 from 9 to 12 a.m. and 1 to 4p.m..and March 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
