LINCOLN TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING

 

 

  The regular meeting of the Lincoln Township Board was called to order by the clerk with all members present except the supervisor.

  Hughes motioned and Wray seconded to appoint the treasurer as the meeting moderator. Approved unanimously.

  The pledge was given and the agenda was approved by motion from Sheets and seconded by Hughes.

  Public comment was heard and Commissioner O�Neil addressed the board regarding the jail site selection.

  Correspondence was read regarding mobile home removal service, MTA pamphlet pertaining to running for public office, and free trash weekend at township transfer station.

  The minutes of March 9th meeting were approved by motion from Wray and seconded by Sheets.

  The treasurers� report was given.

  Motion to pay bills by Sheets and seconded by Wray. Approved unanimously.

   The fire department, planning commission, building inspector, code enforcement officer, and water district reports were given.

  Motion by Hughes and seconded by Sheets to hire John Boyce and Travis Steinka as fire fighter trainees. Motion approved.

  Stark Road water line extension tabled until May meeting by motion from Hughes and seconded by Wray.

  Township Water Millage renewal to be placed on August primary by motion from Ahearn and seconded by Hughes.  Roll call vote: Wray-YES, Ahearn-YES, Hughes-YES, Sheets-YES, Approved unanimously.

  Approval for board members to attend MTA spring district meeting by motion from Hughes seconded by Sheets.

  The M-30 water line was discussed.

  Approval to request for proposals for township auditing services by motion from Ahearn and seconded by Sheets.
