LINCOLN TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES

June 3, 2003

The special meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission was called to order by Joseph Leigeb, chairperson at 7:00 p.m.

Roll call was taken: Joseph Leigeb, Sheila Mesler, Denise Schneider, Kevin Wray and Gary Elza were present.

Minutes of the May 6, 2003 meeting were read and approved with no changes.

Motion by Sheila Mesler, support by Denise Schneider to accept the agenda as presented. Motion carried.

Site plan review as submitted by Janet Asphalt. This site plan proposal is a completely separate operation from the existing asphalt plant. The ownership is completely different than what was in place with the existing asphalt plant. There will be some material storage on site, no major quantities of stone, pea gravel and cold patch. Truck and equipment parking with a building for repair and maintenance of equipment along with an office area is proposed. Existing earth berms on the South, West and North sides of the property will be removed. A 6� chain link fence will be installed on all 4 sides of the property as per the submitted drawing. The temporary job site trailer currently on site will be removed no more than 30 days after occupancy of the building is approved. Motion by Joseph Leigeb with support by Sheila Mesler to accept the proposal with noted items above. Roll call vote, motion carried 5 � 0.

A proposed draft with changes to Section 308. Animals and Fowl Other than Household Pets were submitted for comment and or approval. After discussion and changes made there was a motion by Joseph Leigeb with support by Gary Elza to accept the new draft with changes made. Roll call vote, motion carried 5 � 0. Copy of new draft is attached.

Chairperson Leigeb requested open discussion by commission members and public.

The next meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission will be on July 1, 2003 7:00 p.m. at the township hall.

A public hearing will be held at the next meeting for the proposed wording for Section 308. Animals and Fowl Other than Household Pets. Chairperson Leigeb will get notices out as required.

No additional old or new business was presented.
