LINCOLN TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES

December 2, 2003

Members: Denise Schneider, Kevin Wray and Gary Elza

The meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning commission was called to order by Joseph Leigeb, chairperson at 7:00 p.m.

Roll call was taken: Joseph Leigeb, Denise Schneider, Kevin Wray and Gary Elza were present. Sheila Mesler was absent.

Motion by Kevin Wray with support by Denise Schneider to accept the minutes of the September 16, 2003 meeting and the November 18, 2003 meeting with corrections on the November minutes. Stark road was misspelled in two places. Approved 4 �0.

Motion by Gary Elza with support by Denise Schneider to accept the agenda as presented. Approved 4-0.

Chairperson Leigeb recessed the meeting and opened the Public Hearing. The notice of the meeting was read by chairperson Leigeb and requested questions from the commission members and the public that were present. There were a few questions that were answered. Motion by Denise Schneider with support by Gary Elza to accept the FMHC request. A roll call vote was taken and approved 4-0. A copy of the notice is attached for the record.

Chairperson Leigeb ended the public hearing at this time.

There was not anyone present from the Spicer Group to review the Zoning Text Up-Date at this time so this was tabled till the next meeting.

The Special Use request by The Gun Club of Midland was reviewed. Keith Thurlow and Mark Booth were present to answer questions and explain the layout of the proposed project. Motion by Kevin Wray with support by Denise Schneider to grant the special use as presented. Roll call vote was taken and approved 4-0.

The 2004 calendar for Planning Commission meetings was put together and is as follows. If additional meetings are needed the Chairperson will schedule them.

Chairperson Leigeb requested comments on anything from the commission members and the public. There were none at this time.

There was no old business presented at this time.

There was no new business presented at this time.

The next meeting of the Lincoln Township Planning Commission is scheduled for January 6, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the township hall.

Chairperson Leigeb adjourned the meeting at 7:43 p.m.
